About Jez

(in brief)

Jez Rose is a global speaker and broadcaster turned ceramic artist. As a #1 bestselling author he is best known for his work on showing how to be in our element.

After 22 years as a highly regarded corporate speaker, he walked away to be in his own element with clay. As a presenter with a broadcast and social audience of over 3 million, Jez’s infectious humour, deep human insight, and positive energy extends to a portfolio including television, viral social media content, #1 bestselling books, workshops, and expert contributions to media for the likes of CNN, The Daily Telegraph, and The Sunday Times.

Through deeply honest content he has shown hundreds of thousands of people how to be in their element through his weekly email, read by over 29,000 people worldwide, as host of the pause & effect podcast and in his online platform, The Journey.

His purpose is simple:

“For 22 years I travelled the world as a conference speaker helping organisations and leaders create change. It was rewarding work, but left me feeling that something was just slightly out of reach. In the whirlwind of walking away from that career, I discovered a truth which would eventually shape everything that came next:

The best version of ourselves doesn’t come from doing more, it comes from doing what matters.

Today, I teach people how to find their element and in turn reconnect with joy, passion and their sense of purpose - when we are in our element, everything transforms for the better.”

About Jez

(in full)

Jez Rose is a #1 bestselling author, presenter, and ceramic artist whose work explores what it truly means to be in your element.

For 22 years, Jez travelled to 48 countries as a global keynote speaker, helping organisations including Volkswagen, Pfizer, and Merck unlock human potential by asking the right questions and reframing behaviour. His high-energy, story-driven keynotes earned him a place in Microsoft’s Top 10 most sought-after business speakers and made him a trusted voice on performance, culture, and leadership.

But behind the corporate success, Jez felt a pull toward something slower, simpler, and more connected. Growing up in the English countryside had left him with a deep appreciation for nature’s quiet power; a grounding force he would later return to. In 2017, he swapped suburban life for a decommissioned 200-year-old farmhouse on the Cambridgeshire–Lincolnshire border. Over several years, he trained as a Master Beekeeper, transformed the property into a multi-award-winning organic space, and created the world’s first certified Carbon Neutral honey farm.

The farm became more than a home: it was an experiment in living intentionally. Jez learned that simplicity isn’t passive, it’s an active, conscious choice. Slowing down decisions created space for care, clarity, and responsibility. The project ultimately became a living case study in resilience, stewardship, and values-based leadership.

That same principle now underpins all of his work: whether on stage, in his writing, or in the pottery studio, Jez helps people and organisations to pause, strip away the noise, ask challenging questions, reconnect with what matters, and create the conditions to thrive.

He is the author of six books including Flip the Switch, and two children’s books, with writing featured in The Daily Telegraph, CNN, BBC Countryfile, The Ecologist, and The Independent. He has hosted television programmes for ITV1, BBC1, QVC, and Discovery, fronted national campaigns for DEFRA, TK Maxx, and Jack Wolfskin, and delivered TEDx talks in both the UK and USA.

Today, Jez lives in England working as a ceramic artist and author, and host of quarterly “In Your Element” experience days.

Jez believes “Slower is powerful, and simpler brings clarity. They’re both life-changing choices which help us get closer to finding our element - and when we are in our element, everything transforms for the better.”
